Narinder Rawal MD, PhD, FRCA (Hon), EDRA is a professor of Anaesthesiology at Örebro University, Sweden. He has published over 250 articles and written over 100 book chapters/review articles/books. He has received awards and honours from over 30 societies/institutions including the ESRA Carl Koller and the ASRA Labat Awards. He was Secretary-General of European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy (ESRA) from 2000-2009. Currently Professor Rawal is co-chair EDRA Diploma examination and examiner for EFIC Diploma. He is also a founding member of several international pain management initiatives including PROSPECT, PAINOUT and IASP-Acute Pain SIG. Professor Rawal has published extensively on spinal opioids, combined spinal-epidural technique, regional techniques for pain management after day-case and inpatient surgery and organization of Acute Pain Services.

Dr Sheelaj Sharma MB,BS, FCARCSI is the President of BAPA. He is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital, UK. He trained at St Bartholomew’s School of Anaesthesia, London. His main interests are regional anaesthesia and acute pain management. He is an established national and international faculty in regional anaesthesia courses and regularly teaches at workshops organised by the Royal College of Anaesthetists, AAGBI, EPIC and Pre Euro-Anaesthesia Congress. His current international collaborations has led to educational events in India, UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Dr Mohammed Khulaif Al Harbi is the divisional head of Regional anaesthesia and the Chairman of the anaesthesia department in King Abdulaziz Medical City, Riyadh. He is Canadian board certified and completed his Regional anaesthesia fellowship in the University of Ottawa, Canada in 2008. He has numerous publications and is an avid teacher with more than 20 national and international presentations.

Dr.Iyad Abbas Salman is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist at Medical city Hospital, Baghdad and Assistant Professor, College Of Medicine, University Of Baghdad, Iraq. He is the chairman of scientific council of Anaesthesia and intensive care in Iraqi Board For Medical Specialization and also training committee/Arabic Board For Medical Specialization. His main interest in regional anaesthesia and pain management. He has organzied in over 30 RA courses in Iraq. Dr. Iyad has established a fellowship for Interventional pain

Dr. Paridhi Mehta (MD Anaesthesia) is a senior specialist with more than 15 years of clinical & teaching experience. Presently, she is working as an Anesthesiologist in Rashid Hospital & Trauma Centre since last 9 yrs.Dr Paridhi has been an active member of the faculty in teaching programs and hands-on workshops for regional anaesthesia and pain management courses held at Rashid Hospital in collaboration with the University of Montpellier, France.

Dr Masood Ahmad is working as consultant Anaesthetist at Mafraq Hospital Abu Dhabi with special interest in difficult airway management, regional anaesthesia & obstetric anaesthesia. He has been involved in teaching & training in North America, UK & UAE. He has been educational supervisor for London anaesthesia training rotation, Examiner for MBBS for UCL, has been principal investigator of use of local anaesthetic infiltration & oxygen supply with OnQ pump post operatively.

Dr Suyogi (Yogi) Jigajinni is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Whipps Cross Hospital, Barts Health, UK. He has worked as an Attending Anaesthesiologist in Ann Arbor Michigan, USA. His areas of interest include UGRA service development and has been involved in setting up the awake renal fistula surgery service and Block room concept at Basildon, the first in the Essex, UK and also Fascia Iliaca block service. He is Faculty in the ECRA, FCRA and more recently the AAGBI Spinal Sonography courses.

Professor Sanjeev Bhoi is an emergency medicine consultant at AIIMS Trauma centre, New Delhi, India. Professor Bhoi is a prominent faculty in numerous trauma and focussed ultrasound courses across the globe. He has taught in ultrasound courses in USA, Australia, Canada and in the UK. He has numerous publications on ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia in the ED setting.

Dr. Mazin Adnan is a senior anaesthetist at Al-Sadr Teaching Hospital, Basra, Iraq. He is the director of critical care unit and is also a trainer in the Iraqi and Arabic board of anaesthesia and ICU. He is an ultrasound enthusiast and constantly strives to spread the use of ultrasonography for critically ill patients by all clinical specialties. He runs his own workshop and training sessions in both critical care ultrasound and ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia.

Dr. Saeeda Haider is a senior consultant anaesthesiologist at The Indus Hospital Karachi, Pakistan. The Indus Hospital is a tertiary care, state-of-the- art private hospital providing high quality care, free of cost to the less fortunate in the community. Dr. Haider has a special interest in regional anaesthesia. She has been the Dean Faculty of Anaesthesia at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan.

Dr Pallavi Lande-Marghade is a Specialist Anaesthetist in Al Zahra Pvt Hospital, Sharjah. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate qualification from prestigious Seth G S Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai and then the Fellowship of Royal College of Anaesthetists, UK. She is a faculty in the USGRA workshops conducted at Al Zahra Hospital and NMC Hospital, Dubai. She is also Editor in Chief of Journal of Anaesthesia and Critical Care Case Reports (JACCR) and is also a Founder- Director of Anaesthesia TV, an online video journal.

Dr. Anju Gupta is an assistant professor at Vardhman Mahavir Medical college and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.She has more than 70 publications (national and international journals and books) to her credit. She is also a regular faculty at ACLS, ATLS, AUTLS and various regional anaesthesia workshops (IPSA, C-AURA, ICCES) and has received 5 awards for best paper presentations at various prestigious platforms. Besides, she is also a member of various national and international anaesthesia societies and reviewer for various prestigious journals.
